Special events are scheduled several times a year on Saturday mornings to showcase our wonderful trail system. All residents are welcome to participate.
Bridge Repair Events
EAC team members and volunteers love to help keep your trail hiking experiences enjoyable. Here are a few pictures of the 2024 bridge repairs and building to see the work behind the scenes.
Annual CRC Stream Cleaning
Each year the EAC partners with the Chester Ridley Crum (CRC) Watershed Association to clean up our streams and remove garbage from our township waterways. Each year a local stream and surrounding area is cleaned up. In 2024, the team worked on the stream in Barrett’s Meadow. Lots of trash, including 5 tires, were removed! Canoes, trailers, and even kids with baskets were all part of the fun. We hope to see you at a future spring event.
Monthly Trail Clearings
Volunteers are encouraged to Join Us on Our Monthly Trail Clearings. All are Welcome! We meet on Saturday Mornings at 9 am at the parking lot by the Cheyney Post Office on Station Rd. Come meet your neighbors, contribute to the enhancement of our township’s beautiful natural resources and enjoy a morning outing on one of our trails.
