It is our pleasure to extend to you a warm WELCOME to Thornbury Township, Delaware County. Thornbury Township is strongly committed to excellence in government at a moderate cost, levying no Township Real Estate Taxes.
We hold our Public Supervisors Meetings on the first Wednesday and our Work Sessions on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Township Administration Building. The Township Newsletter is mailed quarterly to each resident. We do our best to stay in touch with our residents; one effective way to communicate is the weekly email news updates and recycling reminders. Our Township Administration Building is located off Cheyney Road, near Cheyney University, at 6 Township Drive. The Township Building is open five days per week, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. (Summer hours are listed on the website) You will find a complete list of offices and phone extensions by clicking the "Contact us" link on the website.
In addition to that you will find important information such as: Township Staff contact information, Board and Commission Members, Newsletters, a Map of Polling Places and Voter Registration Forms, Recycling information, among many other useful links.
