Volunteer of the Year Award

Mark Kelly

The Volunteer of the Year Award is given annually to honor the memory of Mark Kelly.  Mark courageously battled ALS, all the while continuing to serve the Township with his contagious enthusiasm and familiar smile.  Mark was very generous with his time and energy and was dedicated to the town he loved.  We strive to keep his memory alive by honoring a volunteer each year who exemplifies the type of commitment that personified Mark Kelly.  Each December through March, we accept nominations for Volunteer of the Year Award.  All who volunteer their time to Thornbury Township are eligible for this award, and can be nominated by anyone who lives in the township.  If you have any questions, please contact Susan [at] thornbury.org.  Below are some of our past award recipients:
