Do I have to sort my recyclables?
No, the Township uses the single-stream method of recycling so all materials can be placed in one container. DO NOT PLACE IN PLASTIC BAGS AS THE CONTRACTOR DOES NOT ACCEPT PLASTIC BAGS AND WILL NOT PICK UP.
Is corrugated cardboard picked up?
Yes
What items are picked up?
Clear glass, green glass, brown glass, all plastic (except #3 - PVC & #6 - styrofoam), bimetal cans, aluminum cans, newspaper print, junk mail, office paper, cardboard (not corrugated), telephone books, soft cover books, magazines, and cereal & pizza boxes with plastic paper removed.
When does the Township pick up recycling?
Recycling is picked up every Wednesday
