Notice is hereby given that in accordance with Chapter 27 of the Thornbury Township Zoning Ordinance of 1978 as amended, the Thornbury Township Delaware County Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2026, at the Thornbury Township Municipal Building, 6 Township Drive, Cheyney, Pennsylvania 19319 to consider the following application:
Appeal 1-2026 – Appeal of the Glen Mills Schools from the Determination of the Zoning Officer in which he determined that the Applicant has abandoned the residential use of the Property located at 178 Stoney Bank Road and Zoning Ordinance Section 27-2101 D, or in the alternative for a variance under Chapter 27 Commercial Section 1002 Uses Regulations in order to use the Property for residential use, at the property located at 178 Stoney Bank Road Glen Mills, Pa in the Commercial District of Thornbury Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
