PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of Thornbury Township, Delaware County, will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Thornbury Township Building, located at 6 Township Drive, Cheyney, PA 19319.
The purpose of the hearing is to consider and possibly adopt the following ordinance:
“An Ordinance of Thornbury Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, amending the Thornbury Township Code, Chapter 27, Zoning and Planned Residential Development, as amended, to amend Article 22, Administration, to repeal and replace Section 27-2206 to permit legitimate forestry activities, with a more detailed and comprehensive set of regulations governing forestry.”
A copy of the full text of the proposed ordinance is available for public inspection at the Township Building during regular business hours. Copies may also be requested by contacting the Municipal Secretary at 610-399-8383 x107 or by emailing Melissa [at] Thornbury.org (Melissa[at]Thornbury[dot]org). The proposed ordinance is also posted for public inspection on Thornbury’s website- www.thornbury.org.
All interested parties are invited to attend and participate in the hearing.
