One Suspect Apprehended in Local Burglaries

Thornbury Township, Delaware County – The Pennsylvania State Police Troop K Criminal Investigation Unit arrested Paul Terrence Swatton, 60 YOA, Male, Thornbury, Delaware County for Attempted Burglary, Loitering and Prowling at Night after he attempted to break into a secured garage at a residence on Judith Lane, Thornbury, Delaware County.

Pennsylvania State Police Troop K Criminal Investigation Troopers along with Detectives from the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department executed a Search Warrant at Swatton’s address on October 2, 2017 and recovered approximately 120 stolen items. Most of the items recovered were chainsaws, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, and various power tools.

 

Anyone who has had such items stolen from their shed, garage and or barn that resides in the Glen Mills, Thornton, or Westtown-East Goshen area in recent months is asked to contact Trooper Martin Wiley of the Pennsylvania State Police at 484-840-1000 to identify and recover their stolen items.
